In none WotR news, I am pleased to announce that the lads from TFL have finally put Chain of Command up for pre-order. I didn’t realise until I looked at the pictures how much errant glue there is, that will have to be removed next time I have a chance to get some painting done. I also got around to doing his standard bearer. The Entire Retinue (minus flags for the time being)Īlso, while I was at it, I realised I had painted Salisbury’s Coat incorrectly, so a splash of white paint and this second attempt is now the correct version. So, it took a little longer than I had initially planned for, but the only real set back was finding that this damned heat had set my Green Stuff solid in the pot. This time, I have been completing the Retinues for Sir John Done and Sir Hugh Calveley.ĭuring the course of the research, I discovered, among other things, that Sir Hugh married Sir John’s daughter, which of course, gave me the idea of combining their retinues and also Sir Hugh’s coat of arms, which I really enjoyed painting.
